Science experiment gone wrong: Student arrested after causing accidental explosion

Kiera Wilmot, 16, of Bartow High School in Florida was arrested for a science experiment gone wrong after she caused an accidental explosion.

Kiera tried to make non-toxic smoke by mixing toilet bowl cleaner with pieces of aluminum foil in a small 8 oz water bottle. It wasn't long before the mixture caused a small explosion, sending the cap flying and smoke to come out from the bottle. Assistant Principal Dan Durham heard the explosion and decided to call the police, and have Kiera arrested, as well as being expelled from school.
