Mountain climbing deaths: avalanche kills Argentine climbers on Peru Andes

"Search and rescue teams in the Peruvian Andes on Saturday (July 13) recovered the body of one of two Argentine climbers who went missing after an avalanche in the area last week," according to Reuters. The body of 28-year-old Leonardo Gabriel Rasnik Maldonado was retrieved after it was found still attached to a safety line. Rescuers are still searching for 22-year-old Miguel Funes Gracia, who is believed to be buried deep below the ice and snow.
