Police dash cam captures meteor in Canada
  • 9 years ago
It's a bird! It's a plane! Nope, it's just another meteor. This time the meteor was spotted in Alberta, Canada on Saturday, September 21. Luckily a RCMP officer was on patrol that night and his dash cam captured the spectacular sight.

Not gonna lie, Russia's meteorite explosion was much more impressive, but don't worry Canada we still love you. The meteor launched through the sky at around 9:30 pm when the RCMP officer was driving through northern Alberta along Highway 35. According to the officer he was new the Hawk Hills hamlet.

Hmmm, maybe the sky is actually falling. Are you worried this is a sign about the impending apocalypse? If so, let us know! So we can crack open our emergency party pack!

The video which, of course, was plastered onto Liveleak, was only 8-seconds long. But don't get too upset! The team here at TomoNews did some investigative work and we were able to dig up the rest of the footage. If you want to see what happened after this meteor hit, take a look at video above. Oh, but if you're from Canada you don't need to watch it because you already know what happened. And you'll probably get annoyed with us (Oh wait, aren't you the ones that are too nice to get angry?) Anyway, uh, yeah. Enjoy!
