A 22 year-old from Hong Kong committed suicide in front of his girlfriend early Wednesday morning. After leaving a note with only a single Chinese character "死" (DEATH) on it, he got out of the window.

His girlfriend arrived and found the note and begged her boyfriend to come back inside the house. However, the young man jumped, and plunged to his death 9 floors below.

Sources said the 22 year-old had a drug problem, and police also found small amounts of ketamine at his house.

Police suspect no foul play in this tragic case.
