Meet Melynda Moon, a 24-year old Canadian model who had surgery to make her ears pointy like elves or fairies. The mystical model believes she comes from a different realm and was a fairy in her past life.

"I have always been very close to nature. When I found out I could have my ears pointed I have never been so sure of something in my entire life," she told the Daily Mail.

So sure in fact, she recently paid around US$900 for the two-hour surgery. In addition, she has an implant in her hand that is the same shape as the Tri-Force from the Legend of Zelda, a popular videogame.

"My inspiration comes from The Lord Of The Rings: the long hair, dresses and the closeness to nature," she said.

That may be true, but we're inclined to believe she's just trying not to blow her cover. It's OK Princess Ze--- ... I mean Melynda. We'll make sure Ganondorf doesn't put his dirty paws on you!
