Man tells sob story to victim after trying to molest her in her sleep

An unemployed Japanese young man in his 20s was arrested last Sunday around midnight for trespassing and harassing a sleeping woman in Yokosuka, Kanagawa Prefecture, according to a report in the Yomiuri Shimbun newspaper

The suspect, Yuki Arai, is accused of breaking into the victim's apartment and fondling her breasts and crotch. When the victim suddenly awoke, he began telling the her his hard-luck story for over half an hour, while smoking.

After receiving her call, police began canvassing the whole neighbourhood. Arai was busted the next day when he appeared in the same flat and police on patrol asked him to come voluntarily to a police box for questioning.
