In a chilling crime of passion, a 15-year-old boy is accused of slitting the throat of his 13-year-old girlfriend's mother.

The gruesome crime took place in this quiet neighborhood in Ocala Florida early on Sunday morning.

Police say the girl, pretending to hear strange noises coming from the garage, lured her mother into a trap. Inside the garage, girl's boyfriend was waiting in the dark, wielding a knife.

He struck, slitting open her throat and leaving her for dead before held the knife to the father's throat but talked down and persuaded to drive the bleeding woman to hospital where she received life-saving surgery.

Police tracked down and arrested the deranged teens two hours later.

The affidavit states the teens conspired on Facebook to kill the girl's parents so they could keep dating. Police say the girl let the boy into the house and gave him the weapon after her parents were asleep. She made him take his shoes off so he would not be heard.

The two minors have each been charged with two counts of conspiracy to commit murder.
