Kissing congressman Vance McAllister caught on video smooching female staffer

Vance McAllister, the freshman congressman from Louisiana who ran his election on devout Christian values, was caught on camera kissing a married woman who was not his wife.
The 40-year-old freshman house representative was shown in a surveillance video taken inside his district office in Monroe embracing an aide, Melissa Peacock, 33. The video was anonymously sent to the Ouachita Citizen, a local newspaper that was the first to report on the story.
Peacock, who is a family friend, was hired to serve as McAllister's district scheduler. Peacock's husband, Heath, had worked with McAllister for 16 years, and the couple own a home less than a mile from the McAllister family. The couple also donated $5,200 each to McAllister's campaign.
McAllister is the father of five children and has been married to his wife, Kelly Duncan, for 16 years. McAllister openly touted his faith during his campaign, which included advertisements featuring his family.
McAllister was publicly supported by Jep Robertson, a member of the controversial Robertson family which stars in the reality television program, 'Duck Dynasty'.
McAllister has not denied allegations and has issued a public apology for his actions.
