An intoxicated Alabama woman miraculously escaped unscathed after being run over by a CRX train on Wednesday morning, according to local reports.
Lynsey Horne, 22, of Salem, Alabama was sleeping on the railroad tracks when several witnesses waiting for the train to cross the intersection alerted police that someone had been hit by an oncoming train.
When authorities arrived at the scene, Horne was still passed out on the track, completely unharmed and unaware of her brush with death.
Authorities said both Horne's petite size and the length of the train were potential factors in her escaping without a scratch.
Horne was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct for causing a disruption. The train had to be stopped, an ambulance called and a medical helicopter was put on standby.
