Humpback whale jetski collision: jetski riders spot whales and get too close in Iceland

Dramatic video circulating on the internet shows the moment an asshole humpback whale collides with a jet skier in Iceland.
According to reports, Brynjar Thor Gunnarsson and a friend spotted several whales and decided to take a closer look. Gunnarsson captured the encountered with his helmet camera.
In the video, the asshole humpback surfaces before Gunnarsson has enough time to get away. A collision results. Clearly, Gunnarsson had the right of way and the whale failed to signal its intention.
Following the collision, Gunnarsson posted the footage online and wrote: “My friend and I were jet skiing here in Iceland and on our way home we came across this group of whales. Then one came up right in front of my jet ski and I hit it. No harm done though!”
It’s fortunate no harm was done to Gunnarsson or his jetski.
