The Baltimore Ravens have (finally) terminated Ray Rice's contract after graphic footage emerged online showing the running back decking his then-fiancee inside an Atlantic City casino.

The raw elevator footage, published by TMZ Sports on Monday morning, shows Rice and Janay Palmer, now his wife, entering an elevator at the Revel Hotel and Casino on February 15.

The two were both reportedly drunk and can be seen bickering before Rice delivers a powerful left-handed blow out of nowhere.

Palmer is next shown charging directly at her fiancée before the football star delivers a punch that literally knocks her off her feet.

The blow to Palmer's face causes her to smash her head against a handrail, knocking her out instantly.

The most shocking part of the entire video, though, is what comes next.

We see a seemingly unphased Rice posturing before dragging his unconscious partner out of the elevator.

When footage of the aftermath was first released in February many expressed outrage after the NFL slapped Rice with nothing but a mere two-game suspension.

The league has since followed the Ravens' lead and on Monday indefinitely suspended Rice. Better late than never, I guess.
