Meatball stabbing: Maryland man knifes colleague for pinching his meatball

A Maryland worker stabbed his colleague in the arm after he ate a meatball from his lunch plate, local police said.

The 31-year old Edgewood man is alleged to have stuck his coworker as they lunched in the company canteen on Bellair Road, Fallston at around noon on Thursday.

The two were lunching together when the 36-year old pilfered a meatball, which lead to a heated argument. The younger man then stabbed his coworker in the arm before fleeing the scene when the police were called.

The victim was taken to hospital for treatment, according to Harford County Sheriff’s office.

Charges are pending against the suspect, police said
