Freak deer accident: Man killed by deer while rushing pregnant wife to hospital

A man was killed in a freak accident on April 17 when a deer smashed through the windshield of the car he was driving to rush is pregnant wife to the hospital.
When Michael Rogan's wife Niki went into labor, he already knew the drill. We're sure the 42-year-old father of seven had plenty of practice in rushing to the hospital. What the former Marine wasn't prepared for, was having an oncoming car fling a six-point deer into the windshield of the their van.
Niki was able to get the van safely off the road, and no one else was hurt. Both Rogans were transported to the hospital where Niki delivered a healthy baby boy, but unfortunately Michael passed away.
Friends of the church-going family have set up a GoFundMe page to which people have already given more than $200,000. They plan on using the funds to buy a new van and home-school their children.
