Civilian Stands in Street to Stop Car Chase

When police tried to pull over motorcyclist Michael Coppedge in Chickasha, Oklahoma he refused, and led police on a high-speed pursuit through a residential neighborhood, reaching speeds up to an estimated 63 mph. Floyd Briggs, who lives in the neighborhood, witnessed the chase and decided he had to do something about it. He stood in the middle of the street and played chicken with it. That's right, Floyd stopped the chase with nothing but his human body.
