SMC destroys 800kg of artificially ripened mangoes - Tv9 Gujarati

Surat : Surat Municipal Corporation (SMC) conducted a major raid to target carbide-ripened mangoes. In all, SMC destroyed 800 kgs of mangoes. The health department staff visited mahatma Gandhi Fruit market, in order to check on vendors offering carbide-ripened mangoes and the quality of mango being sold in the market. The staff served notices and charged an administrative charge of Rs55,000 from the vendors.
