Alligator Found Hiding Behind City's 'Welcome' Sign

Police in Louisiana had to capture a roaming gator after it was found hiding near a town's 'Welcome' sign.
Police in Slidell, Louisiana were called on Sunday morning, April 19th, after someone reported seeing an alligator roaming the streets.
When they arrived on the scene, the gator fled in hopes of avoiding capture.
The reptile had attempted to hide itself near a "Welcome to Slidell" sign, but its efforts to conceal itself weren’t ultimately successful.
Authorities called area animal control, as well as an expert alligator wrangler, for assistance in capturing the animal.
