Police in Arcadia, Indiana are looking for the two men who burglarized the home of Hershel “Bud” Moore, 94, last Thursday night.

According to reports, the intruders entered Moore’s home around midnight while he was sitting in his living room.

They pistol whipped him and tied him up before ransacking his house. Moore reportedly bit the finger of one intruder when they assaulted him.

Police said the burglars left with a lot of cash. Moore was able to free himself from the ropes and call for help by Friday morning.

Moore is a WWII veteran, and friends say he was a prisoner of war.

The two intruders have been described as white men with black masks.

The Facebook page “Justice for Bud” published photos of Moore’s gruesome bruises. Arcadia residents also created a GoFundMe account to help raise money to cover Bud’s losses.
