Sergeant-at-arms Kevin Vickers took out parliament shooter in Hollywood-style movie scene

Kevin Vickers, 58-year old retired policeman and humble sergeant-at-arms at the Canadian parliament, is being hailed a hero after taking down jihadist killer Michael Zehan-Bibeau last week in a scene witnesses said was reminiscent of a Hollywood action movie.

According to new witness accounts, Vickers was in his office just around the corner from the entrance to the parliament library when he heard gun shots. He immediately grabbed his semi-automatic handgun and made his way outside.

Next, following instructions from others on the whereabouts of the marauding gunman, Vickers crept up to the other side of the pillar where Zehad-Bibeau was sheltering, approaching to within a couple of meters.

Then, in a move that Bruce Willis would have been proud of. Vickers dived to the floor, spinning to land on his back, while simultaneously pumping the contents of his clip into the surprised fanatic.

Bibeau was hit multiple times, and fell to the ground, according to witnesses.

In the aftermath of his heroic deeds. Vickers did not bask in the glory.

Instead, he reportedly got up, calmly walked back to his office and reloaded his weapon in case the threat was not over.

Vickers was later credited by several cabinet ministers and MPs for saving their bacon.
