Wife tries killing husband using sh*t: Arizona woman injects poop into retired cop husband’s IV

An Arizona woman will spend every weekend for a year in jail after injecting a syringe filled with fecal matter into her husbands IV.
Rose Mary Vogel, 65, told police she was so sleep deprived that she doesn’t even remember tampering with her husband Phillip’s central line.
Phillip, a retired police officer, was hospitalized for a heart condition on January 30 when a hospital employee witnessed Rose Mary touching the pump and line, local media reported.
The nurse inspected the line and found a brown liquid in the saline solution, which smelled of feces. The nurse disconnected the line from the patient and went to seek help.
When she returned she saw Rose Mary attempting to hide the evidence in the trash can.
A later search found three syringes tainted with fecal matter inside of her purse.
Beginning the day after Christmas, Rose Mary must turn herself in at a Maricopa County jail, which will be her new home each weekend for a year.
