Deranged murderer Nathan Robinson kills and dismembers his dad and uses his remains as a TV stand

The Winchester Crown Court found a 27-year-old south-western British man guilty of murdering his 48-year-old father earlier this year.
Nathan Robinson had apparently been arguing with his father, William Spiller, whom he owed the equivalent of US$60,000.
During the trial Robinson claimed he had vague memories of the murder, was emotionally traumatized at the time of the incident and should not be held accountable for his actions.
Robinson says the discovery that his mother was a prostitute brought up traumatic childhood memories of abuse.
Following the murder Robinson allegedly dismembered his 6’5’’, 350 lbs father’s body and distributed it among several plastic boxes he later used as a TV stand.
Robinson also apparently rented two steam cleaners in an attempt to clean the apartment and hide the evidence with varying amounts of success. The neighbors living beneath him complained of a pink substance leaking through the ceiling of their apartment, but never reported anything to police.
Robinson then sent several text messages to his father’s lover and best friend for a month and stole US$12,000 from his dead dad’s bank account to go partying in Scotland with some friends. It wasn’t until a month later that police arrested Robinson after his father’s lover filed a missing persons report.
The court, thankfully, disagreed with Robinson’s absurd claims of diminished capacity and has sentenced him to life in prison.
