On November 29th, in Osaka, a 43 year old police officer was accused of sexually molesting and threatening a 20 year old police academy cadet.

The accused police officer was once an academy instructor. The victim claims he used to call incessantly and demand she go drinking with him. In October the female cadet and two other cadets went drinking with the male officer, but at the end of the night the male officer told her he wanted to go home with her.

Instead the cadet took him to the female officers’ dormitories and excused herself to sleep in another room. Late into the night the male officer let himself into her room and climbed into bed with her. He told her to stay quiet or he would ruin her reputation.

The next day the male officer reminded her to keep things between themselves, but the female cadet reported the incident to his superiors.

The male officer says he doesn’t agree with her version of events but would still like to apologize to her.
