Pregnant mother murdered, killer then cuts her unborn child from her body

Guadalupe Salinas Hernandez, age 17, had just aborted her own unborn child and regretting the decision took it into her head to hijack someone else’s child.

So she met Nathaly Cartas Leon, age 20 and eight months pregnant, on Facebook and arranged for the young mother to come to her house for used baby items.

Once Leon arrived, Hernandez hit her over the head and stabbed her several times before cutting Leon’s unborn child from her body.

Several days later, Hernandez went to emergency services claiming that her baby had been stillborn. Doctors quickly realized that the dead baby was not Hernandez’s and when police went to investigate, they found Leon’s brutally murdered and decomposing body.

Authorities say that the baby had actually been dead for a few days and that it had most likely suffocated inside Leon after Hernandez killed her.
