Family survives horrific crash: family walks away after crazy accident with fuel truck
  • 9 years ago
The Slack family of Eagle Mountain was on their way home from a holiday trip in Utah early afternoon on December 30, 2014.

The mother was driving their green Toyota Avalon with her daugher in the passenger seat and her son in the backseat.

Their car was driving on I-80 and changed lanes as the road curved near near East Canyon. Somehow the vehicle hit a patch of black ice and was shot across, crashing right into an oil truck and got stuck right in the middle.

The oil tanker was carrying up to 8000 gallons of fuel.

The car was dragged under the truck about 150 to 200 yards, but the family miraculously survived the accident and were able to walk away without a scratch.
