Charlie Hebdo shooting: Cherif Kouachi, one of the suspects, is a convicted terrorist

Eighteen-year-old Hamyd Mourad, the youngest suspect wanted in connection with the deadly shooting at French satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo, has reportedly turned himself in to authorities.
A manhunt is still underway for the two other suspects involved in the deaths of 12 people, brothers Said and Cherif Kouachi.
After killing eight journalists and a maintenance worker at the office of French magazine Charlie Hebdo in Paris, the two gunmen fled the scene in a black Citroen.
Anti-terror police raided a residential building in the city of Reims, around 90 miles from the capital, on Wednesday night searching for the gunmen. French police later said that the youngest suspect had handed himself over to police.
The suspects are reportedly affiliated with a terrorist network in Yemen.
One of the suspects, Cherif Kouachi, was arrested along with another French national in 2005 as they were trying to fly to Iraq via Syria.
Three thousand police officers have been deployed on the streets as France has raised the terror warning its highest level.
