Fight at school: Student attacks allegedly racist teacher in class after racial slur

A bloodied Maryland high school teacher sat on the floor after he received a serious beatdown from one of his Forestville High student after making allegedly racist remarks that offended the student.
A spokeswoman for the Prince George's County Public Schools said the student misinterpreted the teacher’s comment. Whatever it was that the teacher said, caused the short-fused student to respond with violence.
The picture appears to show another student offering help help to the bloodied teacher after the pummelling.
“If the comment was made, that I was told that was made, I can understand the pain and anger that was incited in that student,” one parent told NBC.
The incident is being investigated to see what sort of discipline is warranted for the student.
