A man in his 60’s is severely injured with burns covering 90 percent of his body after lighting himself on fire inside the bathroom of a Southern California Starbucks on Tuesday morning, fire officials said.

At around 8:20 a.m, the man, believed to be homeless entered the bathroom the Starbucks on Sherman Way in Van Nuys locking himself inside.

Bystanders heard a loud noise, and then the man staggered out of the bathroom completely engulfed in flames.
