Novelty rapper Vanilla Ice is back in the spotlight with a new bad rap—this time, it’s burglary and grand theft charges.

Ice has been working on a reality show called the Vanilla Ice Project for the Do It Yourself (DIY) Network where he leads a construction crew on mansion remodelling projects.

Ice allegedly broke into a foreclosed-upon home which was next door to one of his renovation projects. Police later discovered that Ice was in possession of a couch, a swimming pool heater, bicycles and other items had gone missing from the vacant house.

Vanilla Ice, real name Rob Van Winkle, was booked into Palm Beach County Jail and released on $6,000 bond.

The DIY Network is yet to comment on whether they plan to put the show on Ice, Ice, Baby. On the other hand, this burglary scandal might push viewership to the extreme.
