Police shooting: Miami Gardens cop shot dead schizophrenic man Lavall Hall after mom called for help

The tale of Lavall Hall is becoming all too familiar.
A disturbance involving a young black man, the cops get called and for one reason or another, a young black man ends up dead.
Hall's case may be different from those of Michael Brown and in more recent days Walter Scott, but the end product is the same.
Hall was shot and killed on the morning of February 15 after his mother called police over what she said were her son's mental problems.
Her son, who had been diagnosed with schizophrenia, was wandering around outside in just his underwear while holding a broomstick. Just under two minutes later he was dead.
The video shows Hall briefly before he darts out of frame. Seconds later one of the officers shouts "Get down on the ground or you're f**king dead," before firing 5 rounds.
Police said that Hall was acting aggressively and when a taser didn't work they were forced to fire.
The family's attorney says police knew they were dealing with someone with mental issues and their actions were inappropriate.
The Miami-Dade State Attorney's Office is conducting an investigation into the incident.
