Morales' party leads in Bolivia local elections vote

The Movement to Socialism (MAS), Bolivian President Evo Morales' party, was in first place in yesterday's local and regional elections. The MAS won in four of the country's nine departments, and is ahead in two others but without commanding an absolute majority. Voter participation was high, running at 85%. The run off elections are scheduled for May 3. teleSUR
