Harappa, The Ruins of Indus Vellay

Harappa, the archaeological site which is situated in Punjab, eastern Pakistan, at the distance of 24 km (15 mi) west of Sahiwal. The site of ancient city has the ruins of the Bronze Age fortified city, It is believed that the city have had as many as 23,500 residents and occupied over 100 hectares.
The Indus Valley Civilization is also known as the Harappan Civilization.
The ancient city of Harappa was heavily damaged under the British rule, when bricks from the ruins were badly used as track ballast in the making of the Lahore-Multan Railroad. In 2005 amusement park was constructed.
The two thins which are still unknown are the name of the language and the whetehr the use of gld was made by those people or not.
It is assumed that the people of anceint Harappa had been ruined due to the spread of an unknown disease.
