President Park asks country's leaders to help boost ties with Middle East

President Park asked the heads of Korea's five constitutional institutions to help unite the country and bring together national capacity to economically leap by strengthening ties with the Middle East.
Talking about her recent trip to the region with the group, including the parliamentary speaker and the prime minister, she said she saw great potential in Korean firms seeking to establish themselves in the Middle East's new energy, health care, culture, and ICT industries.
She also talked about opportunities for Korea's young people to realize their potential in those areas.
It was the first time the president met the five leaders after an overseas trip as a means to open up lines of external communication.
