Bangladesh cement factory collapses, scores trapped

At least six people have died and 30 more have been injured when a building collapsed in Bangladesh.
Another 50 are still feared trapped. Authorities said that up to 100 people were inside five-storey cement factory in the port town of Mongla at the time of the accident.
Sailors and soldiers have joined the search for survivors. Those pulled from the debris were rushed to hospital.

The cause of the collapse is under investigation, but officials said that part of the roof which was under-construction may have caved in.
Bangladesh has a history of poor building safety. In 2013 a complex of shops and small factories collapsed killing more than 1,130 people, most of them textile workers.
