Astronaut Chris Hadfield’s Flight Suit Found On Clearance At A Thrift Store

A flight suit belonging to astronaut Chris Hadfield was found at a thrift store, marked down on clearance.

Astronaut Chris Hadfield is known by many as both a former commander of the International Space Station and a social media celebrity. 

Somehow, one of his flight suits ended up at a thrift store. 

Dr. Julielynn Wong, the lucky woman who found and bought it, reported that it had been marked down from 80 dollars to 40. 

Wong also said that she was stunned when she first spotted the garment and absolutely floored when she realized the identity of its original owner. 

The biggest clue to its provenance was a patch bearing the Canadian astronaut’s name.

As luck would have it, Wong is a scientist who spent time in a training program at Houston’s NASA Johnson Space Center.

While there she met and had lunch with the famous celestial explorer and the two are Facebook friends.
