In 2008, she started a consulting firm, Sigma Applied Research, specializing in program evaluation, research design, and data analysis. Dr. Menard is the author of Making Sense of Research, a guide to research literacy that is used as an introductory textbook in many North American graduate programs. She is a member of the American Evaluation Association, and has served as adjunct faculty at the University of Virginia, Georgetown University, and Saybrook University. She is especially interested in interprofessional health care and education.
