"Sid! By Those Who Really Knew Him" is a documentary (released on 09 March 2009) about the turbulent life and untimely death of Sid Vicious, bassist with legendary punk band THE SEX PISTOLS, featuring previously unseen archive footage of Sid’s musical career. With contributions including Jah Wobble (PiL), Glen Matlock (Sex Pistol), Steven Severin (Siouxsie & The Banshees), Caroline Coon (Writer and Artist), Ron Watts (100 Club promoter), Viv Albertine (The Slits), David Vanian (The Damned), Marco Pirroni (Adam & The Ants) amongst others, this is a fan-made video of Severin’s only interview segments, where he talks about Sid as friend, musician and punk icon, focusing to SIOUXSIE & THE BANSHEES live debut at ‘100 Club’ Punk Festival held in London on 20 September 1976 with Sid Vicious on drums, prior to his career with THE SEX PISTOLS.
