Ahmedabad: Two days back, the irked public raided a liquor den in Asarva area of the city and set as many as 25 vehicles ablaze leaving one injured. The further findings have revealed that the illegal activities like gambling and liquor selling are at its peak with the “blessing” of police. These illegal activities give push to women's insecurity. The passive role of police has extended freedom to notorious bootleggers and handed over the hotbed for gambling activities.
