Coentrao trains with first team but misses squad to play Sevilla

Madrid, 3 Feb (EFE), (Camera: Juan Yagüe).- Portuguese defender Fabio Coentrao trained with his teammates at the club's sports complex in Valdebebas Tuesday but was not included in Carlo Ancelotti's squad for Real Madrid's game against Sevilla, which could see Brazilian Lucas Silva make his debut.



The session saw Welshman Gareth Bale return to squad training together with Coentrao, who will miss the league match because of a niggling tendon injury.



The game will be the last Cristiano Ronaldo will miss after the Royal Spanish Football Federation's Competition Committee handed down a two-match suspension as a result of the player being sent off in the game against Granada. The forward has already seen out one match against Real Sociedad Saturday. Also out are Portuguese defender Pepe, who is recovering well from bruised ribs but is still not fit to play, and Luka Modric.
