This is a section from Video Letters to Jason Update II, originally recorded in November 2002, in which I talk about the process that I used to put together the opening title sequence.
Not having a computer or "proper" editing system of any kind, I had to make use of what I had. And this video explains exactly how I did it.
As nice as it is to be able to edit on a computer, bear in mind that this is still a pretty new technology. This video will give you some idea of what editing was like before the era we live in. Back in the good old days of tape-to-tape with timecode as our guide...
