Hawaizaada Movie Review | Ayushmann Khurrana, Pallavi Sharda
  • 9 years ago
This weekend owes its share to Vibhu Puri’s much awaited film – Hawaizaada! Yes…the same movie, which stars Ayushmann Khurrana, Mithun Chakraborty and Pallavi Sharda in pivotal roles. So, are you hearing me? I am taking you to our quick film review that’ll help you decide on whether to watch or not watch the film! The Hawaizaada trailer seems to suggest an Indian Hugo and Ayushman looks to be in a good form of Hawaizaada, a patriotic project. Based on true events, the movie aims to tell the story of an Indian pioneer called Shivkar Bapuji Talpade, a man purported to have created the first airplane in 1895, eight years before that of the Wright brothers. This is a technically hard-to-prove assertion, but a stirring myth has always lent itself to the cinematic, and thus we have this film showing us Mr. Talpade taking to the sky. Mithun Chakravarty seems to be having fun as his mentor, but the overall film appears too theatrical, like a stage-play with overdone moments and corny dialogues. As of now, in Khurrana we may as well trust. So watch it to love it and here’s our Bollywood Uncut rating- 3 stars on 5!
