Suspect Uses Large Assault Rifle In Philadelphia Store Robbery

Police in Philadelphia have released surveillance footage from a troubling robbery and are asking the public for assistance in identifying the suspects involved.

On the evening on January 22nd, two masked men entered a food market and approached an employee. One of the robbers was armed with an assault rifle and he made sure to keep the barrel pointed at the store clerk for the duration of the crime.
The armed suspect stood in front of the counter while his accomplice moved towards the side in what seems to be an effort to keep a close eye on the employee. At one point a victim, presumably the clerk, walked from around the counter with his hands up and is forced to the floor by the second assailant.
The men ended up obtaining $500 before fleeing the scene on foot. Fortunately, no one was injured during the robbery.
