An IDF officer and an IDF soldier were severely injured in the early morning hours today. Two additional IDF soldiers were lightly injured from mortars fired against IDF forces operating in Nablus. In addition, an IDF officer was moderately injured by mortars fired at IDF forces.
During nighttime operations five mortars fell and shots were fired against IDF forces in two different occurrences. During a search, forces uncovered pipe bombs, a large amount of equipment, grenades and a number of bullet magazine intended for use in Kalashnikovs. During operations the forces also arrested two wanted Fatah terrorist operatives.
