Spinous is a music project lead by André de Brito, an artist, singer, composer, songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist that plays guitars, bass, piano, percussion, sax and drums.His voice is quite distinct, strong and peculiar, possessing a wide vocal register that spans several octaves. His music blends pop, soul, disco, rock and even electronic music all together.

He is also part of MEL, a project collaboration with Melanie Spencer which has released two CDs “Give it to me” and “New soul”
