The founder and leader Muttahida Quami Movement, Mr. Altaf Hussain said that MQM was not against the seminaries that preach the message of Allah and Prophet Mohammad PBUH.
Talking to the Chairman Pakistan Ullema Council Hafiz Tahir Ashrafi on the telephone, MQM chief said that MQM was not against the seminaries, that were preaching love, peace and brotherhood but those spreading sectarianism, hatred, killings and terrorism. He said that the federal and Sindh government completely failed to provide security and protection to the people and their properties.
He said that at one hand the innocent citizens were being murdered in targeted-killings while on the other hand the government failed to resolve people’s fundamental issues like water, electricity, gas and petrol. He said that the current federal and Sindh government increased the problems for the people rather resolving them.
Meanwhile, Hafiz Tahir Ashrafi admitted Mr. Hussain’s thoughts regarding the seminaries’ responsibilities and said that one could not expect any betterment for the people from the current government. He also said that if such negligence would continue then the masses would outburst against government's corruption and negligence.
