As koalas age, they start bonding with fellow young marsupials like two koala joeys named Holly and Bai’yali. Both call the Taronga Zoo in Sydney, Australia home and in recent days the pair has been keeping visitors and fans of the facility very happy.

During their early days, koalas can be seen clinging onto their mom’s back or belly.

As they age, however, they start bonding with fellow young marsupials - case in point, two koala joeys named Holly and Bai’yali. Both call the Taronga Zoo in Sydney, Australia home and in recent days the pair has been keeping visitors and fans of the facility very happy.

A photo of them rubbing noses is becoming increasingly popular. Holly and Bai’yali are both about a year old and during the day, they get separated from their mothers.

In those hours, Holly and Bai’yali are together and act as so-called “tree mates”. While awake, koalas focus on one thing - feeding on eucalyptus leaves.
