Acer Freezing Problem

This video depicts how the freezing problem occurs in the Acer Aspire 5601awlmi notebook. I managed to record it just in time when Ｉwas trying to replicate the problem by playing random videos from youtube. You can see the task manager logging the activity until the freezing happens.

The freezing occurs at 0:52 and lasts about 12 seconds or so. Notice the sound loop and the lockup, followed by the hiccup (recovery indicated by the blinking hard drive light), and then a sharp spike logged by the task manager.
