Classic Game Room presents a CGR Undertow review of Garfield: Caught In The Act for the SEGA Genesis developed and published by SEGA. Lasagna, television, naps—think Garfield has it easy? Well, not today! In this SEGA-produced platformer, the laziest cat in the world finds himself trapped in the world of television and movies! A scary cemetary, a prehistoric jungle, a black-and-white alley and not a single plate of pasta to be found! Oh, the horror! Garfield: Caught In The Act is a single-player platformer similar to Mickey Mania in theme and concept, putting Garfield in a different setting for each level. As a late Genesis release, the game boasts excellent 16-bit graphics and fantastic use of color, particularly in its beautiful backgrounds. Sheldon’s not in this game, though. Must be back at the farm. This video review features video gameplay footage of Garfield: Caught In The Act for the SEGA Genesis and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's Derek.
