Terra Motors Electric Auto Rickshaw R6 Is For India

Reportedly, Terra Motors had revealed an electric auto rickshaw for India dubbed as R6.
On the cosmetic note, there is nothing significant to talk about. But on inside, it has a seating capacity for six passengers plus a driver, where unlike to our conventional rickshaws carries only 3 passengers at a time.
Power to it comes from a 48V battery which at a single charge clocks 100kms and reaches a maximum speed of 30km/h.
However, at a number of comparisons on paper, the R6 is beaten down by our outgoing rickshaws. But to say it right, the three-wheelers of our roads don’t carry this much load as this machine from Japanese automaker is claimed to be.
Well, the final verdict is yet to be delivered, and that can only be done after testing Terra R6 practically on our roads.
