Rapper Earl Hayes and his wife Stephanie Moseley were reportedly discovered dead in their shared Los Angeles apartment.

Rapper Earl Hayes, and his wife Stephanie Moseley, were reportedly discovered dead in their shared Los Angeles apartment. According to LAPD homicide detectives, Moseley, who starred in VH1’s "Hit The Floor," was fatally shot by Hayes in what police believe is a murder-suicide case.

On Monday morning, neighbors reported hearing a woman screaming and gunshots. When officers arrived at the home, they found a closed bedroom door and heard shots ring out.

A SWAT team entered the room and discovered two bodies, believed to be the rapper and his wife. A weapon has been recovered from the scene.

In light of the tragic news, VH1 officials released a statement noting, “We are incredibly saddened to hear the news of the passing of Stephanie Moseley. VH1 and the entire 'Hit The Floor' family send our thoughts and condolences to her family and friends...”

34-year-old Hayes was an affiliate of boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr. 30-year-old Moseley was an actress and professional dancer.

According to friends of Hayes, he was not known to be a violent man. His life coach claimed Moseley had previously said her husband had never been aggressive towards her.
