Global warming and how to conquer it will be the main topic at a two-week long United Nations Climate Change Conference that opened Monday in Lima, Peru. Representatives of 195 states and many NGOs will participate in the conference which hopes to pave the way for a major climate change accord to be signed next year in Paris, with the agreement slated to take effect in 2020.
