Across the Alps with Sled Dogs | Documentaries and Reports

Sled dog teams from all over Europe come together every year in January to participate in the Alpen Trail, the most spectacular race in the Alps. The participants cover more than three hundred kilometers in seven stages and overcome huge differences in altitude. The dog owners are a dedicated community for whom sporting ambition is not the most important aspect. The main attraction is the enjoyment of challenge with their dogs at this annual event staged against an impressive backdrop.
